Lynelle DeRoo Marcos, RDH, is founder and owner of the nonprofit and is working in conjunction with the University of Eastern Africa, Baraton, the Superintendent of all hospitals in Nandi County, Dr. Churchill Kemboi, and the Nandi County Minister of Health, Mrs. Ruth Koech, in Kenya. Together, a public service campaign will be launched to not only raise the awareness of the mouth-body connection, but to provide complete oral hygiene education. "Dental Health Officers" will be trained to deliver an ongoing, high quality, oral hygiene instructional program. It is anticipated this will be repeated in all counties of Kenya.
